Make Poverty a History?

|
Today is the Blog Action Day where blog writers will write about the same topic, poverty.
The purpose of blogging this issue is to spread awareness among blog writers and readers and help make poverty a history.
Why would anyone want to make poverty a history?
So everyone can live happily on earth, have prevailing access to resources?
How?
By sharing what we have, giving what we have?
Then what's wrong with communism if we want to make poverty history?
Isn't capitalism the root of poverty?
If we want to make poverty a history, then we have to make sure that everyone should have access to resources yet many still have no access to clean water, sanitation, food, clothing, shelter, right? Or at least help those who barely survive a day to have access of all the blessing the rest of the world has.
Poverty is not because of capitalism..well...it plays on of the major role. But because of sin, isn't it. That's the root of all the bad thing happened. Yet, it's inevitable to commit sins. Helping people that are still living in poverty doesn't save us from sin. But just to share the access we got to resources we at least make poverty..bearable.Naaahh that's not the right word...poverty..decline (not even connected).
Well I think, poverty is not only the lack of access to resources but also the to opportunity. Some people don't have the access to good education, good health care, and of course good job, good house, good sanitation, etc.
We cannot live in total capitalism or total communism either. What we can do is to help each other to have access to resources.
I'm obviously don't live in poverty since I have access to the Internet. And I think what we can do to at least help those who live under poverty are:

  1. give to the needy, every baht counts (well not only baht, water, food)
  2. don't waste food, some people don't have access even to clean food

I can think of many other thing, but these things are the only things that I actually do. I don't want to tell people but I myself just sit here and put comments of others' blog.
So that's my post for this day.
May God bless us all!
