I went to Chatuchak market today with Lerie to buy some of her wedding stuff ...and mice. Supposedly lab mice, we..I mean..I bought two (a pair) of Roborovski Dwarf Hamster (Phodopus roborovski). They will be bred and sacrifice later for the sake of knowledge. So kasihan. To be honest, I've forgotten how to take care of an animal. The last time was in high school (about 4 years ago) when I had to take care of a friend's Brazilian Red ear slider (Trachemys elegans). This reptile is fairly easy to take care for its timid and cold blooded nature. Yet I have to take these malikut (hyperactive) hamsters which are warm-blooded rodents.

I've named these two hamsters; Ren and Pablo. Those names just came out of nowhere, no particular reasons. Ren is the curious, super malikut, active female hamster and Pablo is just a hopeless male hamster.

So far, based on my observation, these hamsters are able to dream while they're sleeping. Really cute! They will grab a seed and nibble on them, or rolling around, or kick each other with closed eyes:D Never knew that before! Just like human. When the other kicks, the other(can't tell which one is which one yet) will woke and try to move away or try to go back to sleep.
